Flybe has today announced it will launch a daily service between Guernsey and Heathrow on 31 March 2019. It will be the first direct connection between the island and Heathrow in 20 years, and will be operated by 78-seat Bombardier Q400 aircraft.

Following briskly after Flybe’s announcement of Heathrow services, Cornwall Airport Newquay has announced that regional operator Blue Islands, a franchise partner of Flybe, will launch a new service to Jersey and Guernsey on 3 June. The route will be operated three times per week, using 46-seat ATR 42-320s.
