At the ceremony to herald the start of the Louisiana link, BA announced that the service will increase to five times weekly from 30 October. Nicolas Krohne, VP of Sales for BA said: “We are honoured to be able to connect New Orleans with London Heathrow and the 130 plus destinations that British Airways flies to across Europe and beyond.”
Mark Reis, Interim Director of Aviation, New Orleans Airport added: “The launch of this flight represents a major accomplishment for the airport and the local community and business leaders who helped secure this service.”
