The UK Regional and Business Airports (RABA) Group represents 39 UK airports with passenger throughputs of less than 3 mppa, four in the Crown Dependencies. Although every member airport faces particular challenges, RABA’s collective voice helps to highlight shared issues. The Group’s overarching aim is to underline the strategic importance of the UK’s smaller airports and the economic value they create.
In addition to scheduled services airports, members include airports catering primarily for business or general aviation, offshore and emergency services, aerospace and aircraft servicing. In many cases they also act as centres for aviation related employment clusters.
