
Newcastle International Airport has celebrated the arrival of Turkish low-cost carrier Corendon Airlines.
The airline is operating two flights a week to Dalaman and Antalya, adding to the airport’s biggest-ever programme to Turkey this summer.
Mine Aslan, Commercial Director, Corendon Airlines, said: “We are excited to start our Newcastle operations. While hoping that our operations from Newcastle will be a success, we are planning to expand our flight schedule throughout the winter season.”
