On 27 March, Wizz Air launched its seventh route to from Liverpool in the form of a 2,177-kilometre link from Craiova in Romania.
Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe have commenced flights from Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA) to the Southern Romanian city of Craiova.
This is Wizz Air’s seventh destination from Liverpool, complementing the airline’s existing flights to Warsaw, Gdansk, Katowice, Riga, Budapest and Lublin.
Flights operate up to three-times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and these are the only departures outside of London to Craiova, taking the number of weekly departures by Wizz Air from Liverpool up to 20 this Summer.
Craiova is an ideal short break destination with a strong focus on culture, filled with art, history and museums.
