England legend, rapper, and football pundit to forecast home nations’ prospects in EURO 2016.
Liverpool and England legend, rapper, and football pundit John Barnes is to deliver the final address to the British-Irish Airports EXPO on 9 June in the form of an exclusive presentation to all 1,500+ delegates on the prospects of the home nations competing in EURO 2016 France.
Barnes, who will head to the airport immediately after the British Irish Airports EXPO to report on the Euros, is best-known for a glittering career at Liverpool 1987-97, becoming one of their best-ever players, inspiring them win two league titles and two FA Cups. His 79 caps for England included the semi-final of the 1990 World Cup for which he also recorded the number one-selling official England tournament song with New Order: “World in Motion”.
While reflecting on a later managerial career, which included a season at Celtic and managing the Jamaican national team, Barnes will then focus his comments on the EURO 2016 prospects of England, Wales, Ireland and Northern Ireland – truly taking him to every corner of the British-Irish Airports EXPO catchment area.
